中國叢書庫是專門收錄歷代叢書的大型古籍數據庫。

叢書是中國特有的文化資源，自晚清以來名為叢部，與經史子集並列。其書乃按一定的原則和體例匯集多種典籍而成。最早的叢書始見於宋，自宋末以迄民初，歷代編纂的叢書，包括雜纂類叢書、類編類叢書、地域類叢書、輯佚類叢書、家族類叢書、獨撰類叢書等，多達3,000餘部；所收各類典籍，林林總總，不下6萬種。豈但蔚為大觀，實在足資寶用。

中國叢書庫以叢書集成初、續、三編為基礎，將叢書選取範圍擴至1000部，包括400部雜纂類叢書、200部類編類叢書、30部輯佚類叢書、70部地域類叢書、70部氏族類叢書和230部補纂類叢書，繼續遵循罕見和實用的原則，運用大數據技術，從中采輯歷代典籍2萬種。

術標準：每種皆據善本，採用獨有的數字再造技術製作，還原式頁面，左圖右文逐頁對照，眉批、夾註、圖表、標記等無障礙錄入和非嵌入式顯示。總計全文超過12億字，影像超過1,000萬頁，資料總量超過300G；同時配備強大的檢索系統和完備的功能平台，可進行毫秒級全文檢索和一站式整理研究作業。
