The data of China listed company database is released by China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Listed Companies Association, Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The database provides the statistics of listed companies in the nation, sub-regions and sub-industries. It also involves the statistics of cash flow, profit levels, balance for more than 2,000 listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen. The database, which has 6 sub-databases, plays an important role in understanding the capital structure of the listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen, analyzing their operating conditions, studying key financial indicators of each listed company. Meanwhile, it is useful to track the financing and transaction status in Shanghai and Shenzhen, to grasp the development speed and scale of China's securities market. The data has been annually updated since 1992, updated quarterly since the fourth quarter of 1990 and updated monthly since December of 2002.
