China Finance Database, with data sources from the People’s Bank of China, China Finance Association, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Insurance Regulatory Commission and State Administration of Foreign Exchange, reflects the overall situation of financing, trade and operation of the banking, securities and insurance, and foreign exchange industries. It covers the monthly-updated financial statistics of 31 mainland provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities as well as some industries and financial institutions.
Its main indicators include monetary loan, flow of funds accounts, aggregate financing, financial market, balance of payments, gold and foreign exchange reserves, exchange rate, financial institutions and their business, financial personnel, economic survey, price statistics and national economic survey. This database helps faculty and students of universities and colleges, financial researchers and staff of financial agencies in their study, education, research, investment and policymaking.
