该专题库全面整合了材料科学技术的国际网络学术资源,收录全文文献1303248篇;内容涉及金属材料、无机非金属材料、有机高分子材料、不同类型材料组成的复合材料等方面。按照更常见的分类方法可以把材料分为结构材料和功能材料。目前,通常用于结构材料的金属材料的发展比较缓慢,而新型功能材料的发展则呈日新月异的状况,因此我们主要收集新型功能材料,如生物材料、磁性材料、超导材料、新能源材料、形状记忆材料、梯度功能材料、纳米材料、计算材料等,以及材料加工、材料测试等材料工程领域的最新发展方向和研究成果。
