China's Challenges
This series aims to improve international understanding of China's current critical challenges, of the future of Chinese society. The program will start with the most internationally discussed core problems of China. Through interviews with high-level officials, experts, scholars, and ordinary people, the program will reflect a series of developing difficulties and challenges, such as important changes and progress in society after the reform and opening up, especially during the past ten years.

Witness1978-2008
“Witness 1978-2008” is a full-length financial documentary. The series chronicles the important economic events from China’s reform and opening up in 1978 to 2008, including, revealing how Yuan Geng’s leadership facilitated the development of the Shekou Industrial Zone in 1979; and how Wangshi and other entrepreneurs started their legendary careers in 1984 and opened the new era for Chinese enterprises. The documentary also features interviews with prominent economists, such as Wu Jinglian, who are the “witnesses” of the 30 years of reform and opening up, with the aim of better reflecting its value as an oral history program and reproducing as far as possible the details of Chinese economic history.
