It covers the monthly-updated financial statistics of 31 mainland provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities as well as some industries and financial institutions.

Its main indicators include monetary loan, flow of funds accounts, aggregate financing, financial market, balance of payments, gold and foreign exchange reserves, exchange rate, financial institutions and their business, financial personnel, economic survey, price statistics and national economic survey. This database helps faculty and students of universities and colleges, financial researchers and staff of financial agencies in their study, education, research, investment and policymaking. Data date back to 1978 with yearly, quarterly and monthly updates.
