China education database is released from Chinese Ministry of Education, applying for the study of China's education development. The chapters are divided into higher education, secondary education, primary education, early childhood education, special education and other different stages of education, data of which relate to school premises, assets, school conditions, students and faculty, and full-time teachers. Main indicators include school property specific target area, the school building area, the number of teaching computer, the number of schools meeting standards for the size of sports field (Hall) , the number of students, enrollment number, the number of graduates, students and political outlook, staff numbers, the number of full-time teachers, full-time teacher qualifications, etc. The data has been updated annually since 1978.

The database has collected more than 780,569 full-text documents since 1990. It is classified into the following 16 topics according to the foreign classification methods: principles of education, curriculums and principles of instruction, educational technology, preschool education, primary and secondary school education, higher education, adult education (moral and religious education, education on sociology, education on history, and multicultural education), vocational education (education of science and technology, medical education, acts education, and engineering education), special education (disable children education and supernormal children education), study abroad, teacher’s education, educational psychology, educational organization, educational policy, quality and assessment of education, comparative education and international education. The document types include the excellent academic papers, reviews of academic conferences and records of achievements, e-books, courseware, bills, policies and special topics which are published by the overseas official organizations and research institutions. The database involves every field of foreign education research and advanced educational experience and approaches in different countries. The amounts of data updated per year are 10,000.
World education database reflects the basic status of development of the world education, its statistical data starts in 1999, and data is updated in units of the year. The statistical data include the scope of education system, schooling years of different stages of education, population and economy, the number of students, faculty numbers, the enrollment rate, expenditure on education, etc. Main indicators involves the number of school-age population, the number of students in school, the percentage of repeaters, the rate of children drop out of school, etc.
